The Cape Coral Soccer Association are fortunate to have access to fields at three different complexes in the City of Cape Coral. We have use of some of the best soccer facilities in Southwest Florida, and have hosted many events for the Florida Youth Soccer Association including "The Premier State Cup Final Four", "The Presidents Cup", "Region C Cup", "DC Cup" and the annual " Norm Rosen U8 Jamboree", we also annually host the Norm Rosen 3v3 tournament in MAY.
The Cape Coral Sports Complex is home to our recreational soccer program. This 54 acre complex includes 14 athletic fields, full concessions, restrooms, picnic area and playground.
The Pelican Soccer Complex is home to our select soccer program. This 14.3 acre park also houses our CLUB OFFICE. The soccer complex includes 4 oversized soccer fields, 2 playgrounds, full concessions, a viewing platform and picnic tables.
Due to amazing growth, the Cape Coral Parks & Recreation department has provided CCSA with Jim Jeffers Park which opened on June 2, 2007. This is home to our summer camps program as well both select and recreational soccer practices and games. In addition, the park is fully handicapped accessible and is the new home to our TOPSoccer Program. Located across the parking lot from Christa McCauliffe Elementary, the park includes play equipment, four soccer fields, picnic shelters, and a walkway leading to a 2 acre lake. News-Press has recently spotlighted the park for the impact it will have on the soccer community.
The City incorporated in August 1970, and its population continues to grow rapidly. With more than 160,000 residents, Cape Coral is one of the fastest growing areas in Florida. Cape Coral is the 3rd largest city geographically in the state of Florida and is the 11th largest city in population.
The city is a large peninsula on the Gulf Coast of Florida and is bordered by the Caloosahatchee River on the east and Matlacha Pass on the west. The city is located about 90 minutes south of Sarasota.
